“We are a proud family-owned business committed to manufacturing in the United States. We value integrity in our work, safety of our employees, and creating a workplace where everyone feels engaged, empowered and energized to help us become the best company possible.”
Howard Green, Founder
Iceberg Enterprises was founded by Howard Green in 1999 along with a group of experienced and talented professional colleagues from his early days in the office products industry leading Quartet Manufacturing Company, which was, at that time, a family-owned manufacturer of whiteboard, bulletin and chalkboard products for the office.
Iceberg was formed with the understanding that the digital office revolution in the new millennium would change the way people work and sought to provide flexible, well-made furniture that would serve the modern office. The new company name, Iceberg, was adopted to signify that our knowledge and experience in manufacturing and the office products industry went much deeper below the surface than our newly formed company might suggest.
Howard and Lisa Green
As Iceberg grew and more products were added, it became apparent that having a facility for Iceberg’s proprietary iceberg brand business was essential to a continued growth strategy into the future. In 2002 Iceberg Enterprises proudly opened its current production facility at 1855 West Chicago Road in Sturgis, Michigan. The plant started small with a few blow-molding machines and continued to expand with additions of metal fabrications, assembly, and an efficient Distribution Center just a few miles from the Indiana Toll Road (I-80).
The continued growth created a new opportunity to undertake contract manufacturing for other entrepreneurs and well-established businesses. Iceberg’s goal then became to be a world class supplier to anyone that needed a home for their production. Iceberg Enterprises has since grown into full-service blow-mold solution for our contract customers spanning many industries across the nation, along with continuing to manufacture our own brand of products for the office products industry and beyond.
Our contract customers are now a very important part of the Iceberg family. Thanks to the fact that we have spent many years manufacturing our own line of products, we understand every stage in the process from conception and product development to point-of-sale, whether wholesale or to the end user customer. We will work with you every step of the way.
Currently, Iceberg continues to add new capabilities and equipment. We are working on adding capacity so as to expand and serve our growing network of customers. In 2021 we brought in a dual 8 pound machine and in 2023 we added a new single head 75 pound machine. Click here for more information about our machines and capacity.
We consider our hard-working people our most important asset, the heart of our company, without whom none of our great work
would be possible.
We look forward to helping you in the future.
